Gastronomy & Wine - 'Terroirs Originels Cru Beaujolais' with Chef Harjeet Mehdwan

Elie Gauthier (son of Laurent Gauthier) will join us all the way from Beaujolais France to present 'Six Artisans, Six Crus, Six different Terroirs, One Grape Variety, One Vintage, One Passion!

This is a wonderful opportunity to see how the same grape type can vary between crus sites and then personalized by different producers. All these wines will be paired with delectable foods prepared by Chef Harjeet Mehdwan ... I have seen the menu and its going to be awesome. Wines are all from Enotri's fine wine portfolio!

What is “terroir?” To the growers of Terroirs Originels, it is a sense of place and time captured in a glass of wine. All member estates exclusively work with grapes grown on their own vineyards. They farm their land following sustainable, organic, or biodynamic principles with the common commitment towards preserving their heritage. As a result, production levels are kept low with the focus on preserving the terroir, as opposed to an exponential increase in size.
